Nagaland sits in the north-eastern region of India, where the Naga hills rise from the Brahmaputra Valley. It was from this mountainous terrain that we salvaged these striking, solid teak tables. They were once used as a bed in a traditional Naga village, built to withstand the harsh monsoon seasons and strong winds that blew across the hills. These tables are at least 70 years old and were handcrafted from a single piece of teak. They have since been polished in a beautiful natural wax to protect the longevity of the timber.
